Frequently Asked Questions

Thank you for your interest in Life Engineering. We’re excited about the journey you’re considering taking and we want to make sure you have all the information you need to make the best decision possible.
We’ve compiled a list of the most commonly asked questions (below). We hope this is helpful, but if you have a question that is not represented on this list, then please don’t hesitate to fill out the form at the bottom of the page to ask us directly.

You will have the ability to purchase one pillar at a time for a flat fee, or you can purchase all four pillars (the Ultimate Suite), which will give you access to all offered content at a significant discount.

After you have made your purchase, you will have access to the material associated with each pillar you’ve purchased, for a period of one year. If you purchase the Ultimate Suite, you will have access to all of our content, for a period of one year. This includes resources referenced in the workshop, tools associated with the pillar(s) you’ve purchased, workshop recordings (past and future), as well as other members-only content (like our Principle Knowledge base).

Note: If you purchase the Ultimate Membership package, you will have access to all content from all pillars, for a full year.

After your purchase, you’ll be directed to the members area, where you’ll be able to access all content associated with your membership level. Part of that will be the ability to see our schedule for upcoming classes. You’ll be able to choose a class from that list that best fits in your schedule.

We start new classes at different times, and each class is on a different day/time combination to help increase the chance of you finding a combination that works for you.

For Orient, we start a new cohort (set of classes) approximately every two weeks. We start a new Execute cohort about every 4 weeks. Empower starts new about every 6 weeks, and there’s a new Achieve cohort about every 8 weeks.

Every workshop is designed to be 90 minutes long. People often like to stay a little afterward to talk about their plans, and socialize with other workshop attendees. Community (relationships) are an important part of the journey, so we love to see people connecting and developing friendships afterward.

Once you start a pillar, it will take 4 weeks to finish (4 workshops, one each week).

If you purchase the Ultimate Membership, you’ll have access to all 4 workshop series, but you can start a workshop series when it’s convenient for you. In other words, if you’ve just completed the 4 weeks series of Orient, but need to wait a week (or a month, or even two or three) before starting Execute, you can simply choose the next Execute class that fits with your schedule.

Our recommendation is that you don’t wait too long between workshop series. People in motion tend to stay in motion, while people at rest tend to stay at rest. So staying in motion… forcing yourself to push through is important to building momentum in life. But we also know that sometimes life gets chaotic and you just need to take a little time to get your feet under you. That’s why we’ve built it to be so accommodating.

You can attend either in person, or online.

After you register you’ll be taken to the Command Center (your special members area). From there you can click on Workshop Resources. That page will show you a list of the times when new workshops are happening, and will have instructions on how to join the workshop of your choice. If you want to join online, you’ll get access to a URL where you can register for the Zoom meeting (Zoom is the online service we use to broadcast our workshops).

If you wish to attend in person, you can do so by coming to our corporate office at the scheduled time of the workshop. Additionally, if you miss a class (or even if you just prefer watching it at your convenience, instead of at our scheduled time), then you can simply go to Workshop Resources and access the recordings of the workshop. This allows you to watch at any time, and at your pace. The only downside is that it’s not live, so you can’t interact with the facilitator. But for many people, this is a prime option because it works with any schedule.

Yes. In addition to attending the workshops, we offer our content on demand. This can be a compelling option for those with an unpredictable or unforgiving schedule. Every workshop is recorded and made available in the membership area within about 48 hours after the class. Not only that, but you have the ability to see past workshops (and future recordings as well), and you can come back and watch those any time you want and as many times as you want as long as your membership is active (each membership lasts for a full year, and then you can renew for a year).

To access workshop resources, including recordings for on-demand content, just log in to www.life.engineering using your username and password by clicking the “My Account / Login” link at the top right corner. That will then take you to you Personal Command Center. From there, just click “Workshop Resources” and proceed to the workshop you would like to view.

Yes, this option is available, and is very common for parents wanting to purchase the workshop for their kids, or for purchasing the workshops as a gift.

If you haven’t yet purchased, this is easy. Just complete the purchase process yourself, for whatever pillars you would like to purchase (we recommend taking advantage of the Ultimate Membership, which gives access to all workshops and all online content, for a full year).

After your purchase is complete, you’ll be taken to a special Registration page. Instead of filling that out for yourself, just give that URL to the person who will go through the program. This will create the website membership for them, and allow them to create a username and password which will give them access to all the workshops, content, tools, and workshop resources.

If you’ve already purchased, and registered, and you wish to transfer the remaining purchased pillars to another individual, you’ll need to contact our support team at [email protected]
