Part of your professional onboarding package includes an introductory call with Life Engineering Founder and CEO, Rusty Lindquist.Â
Rusty has been studying engagement for the last 20 years and his enthusiasm for building engagement in individuals and organizations is palpable.
Rusty studied behavioral and cognitive psychology at the University of Utah and has continued a journey of lifelong learning to understand what drives human behavior.
Focusing highly on organizational, motivational and cognitive psychology, as well as behavioral economics and game mechanics, he invented the 16 Elements methodology for diagnosing and solving engagement. He built a core suite of supporting frameworks, models and methodologies to help individuals, leaders, and organizations know how to optimize engagement to drive performance.
As a keynote speaker, Rusty has delivered this content at major conferences in over 46 speeches and 60 live Webinars.
In this introductory call, Rusty will give you a personal tour through some of these core frameworks, the origins of the 16 Elements, and will help you understand the power behind the membership system you’ve now got at your fingertips.
life OVERVIEW
I grew up in darkness. I lived amidst abuse. I experienced homelessness and hunger. I experienced abandonment and despair. I lived often alone as an 11-year-old boy in the mountains of Montana with no electricity or running water.
I know what it’s like to live beneath your potential. I know what that darkness feels like. I’ve devoted my life to solving this problem. I am committed to helping bring people out of the darkness and into the light . . . to helping them find their purpose and figure out who they are, where they’re going, and how they’re going to get there.
Life Engineering is my life’s work. And to us here at Life Engineering, it’s more than a company. It’s a belief. It’s a belief that you can take control of your life. It’s a conviction that you have power, and that when given access to the right support, you can activate and achieve your full potential.

What to expect
Rusty will take you on a personal tour through the Orbits model, which is the core framework for understanding engagement and disengagement, both personally and professionally.Â
He’ll then walk you through an overview of the 16 Elements, so you can get a foundational understanding of what they are and how they drive engagement and performance.
Rusty will then give you a personal tour through your membership subscription, helping orient you to the features and content available.
He’ll walk you through how to launch your first assessment. He’ll show you where to find your results, how to read them, and what to do about them to optimize engagement.Â
Rusty will review what we need in order to onboard your team and will assign you to an Onboarding Specialist who will work with you to get your team on board.Â
Lastly, Rusty will answer questions you have so you can feel confident in this journey you’re launching with your team!Â
