'Til we meet again
If you manage a team, then you care about team performance. But when it comes to performance we tend to fixate on the levers of time and talent, and ignore energy—the emotion we have for the work we do. But of the three, the research shows that energy matters most. That means we have to go DEEP to understand the energy drivers for our team, both collectively and individually.

and the critical role of Energy
First, make sure each member of your team has an account. This will give them access to all our tools and academy content. You will then be able to measure engagement and run reports like this (as well as to track satisfaction, performance, and employees’ Energy Profiles). It all starts with creating team member access.
Make sure all your team members
have accounts
Next, make sure each team member takes their Engagement Assessment. They’ll just log in, go to “All Tools” from the left nav, and click “Company Engagement.”
They can measure Engagement in any aspect of their life, but this specific assessment will measure Engagement at work. You’ll have access to these results (in aggregate), but not their other personal Engagement Assessments.
Take your own employee engagement assessment here
As your candidates take their assessments, their reports will begin to be available here. Just click on the “Reports” tab above. Simply select the individuals, departments, teams or other groups you’d like to view an Engagement report for. You can save these reports so you can return to them later. You can also share reports by sharing the report URL.

Our curriculum for individuals on the 16 Elements of Engagement
Our leadership curriculum on the 16 Elements of Engagement
For organizations to be effective they must be market driven and employee centered. To be employee centered, you have to deeply understanding your employees. You have to have true empathy and understanding for them in order to help them be satisfied, engaged, and high-performing. This is captured in our 5 Voices model.
Take our course on the 5 Voices of Organizational Achievement
While each of the 16 Elements plays a role in our level of engagement, the impact of each Element tends to vary by individual and team. The Engagement Assessment will tell you what Elements are missing or active on a team or group. The next step is to use the Team Energy Profile to find out how much those Elements matter. This will help you know what to focus on to yield the highest engagement results.
Use the Energy Profile to fuel employee engagement and performance
Satisfaction and Sentiment are the most superficial measures of Energy. Together they represent the emotional undercurrent coursing through our teams. Different from Engagement, they are a valuable, additional measure we can use to keep tabs on Energy. We recommend a scheduled cadence between measuring each of them (learn more). Visit our Team Satisfaction tool for more!
