Question 1 of 2
1. Question
Which planner type is most like you? Which is least? Sort in order of most to least like you.
-
The Firefighter is “unexpected obsessed.” They relish the urgency of a fire alarm and get a rush from swooping in and saving the day. Firefighters may put out a lot of fires but rarely get planned work done, so they become known for missing deadlines, breaking promises, and failing to deliver.
-
The “Stick to the Plan Person”knows the unexpected is out there but is “plan obsessed”—they won’t budge from what they’ve outlined.
-
The Workaholic sees connections between planned activity and the unexpected but is both “work obsessed” and “choice averse.” They don’t appreciate having to let go of one option in order to choose another, so they simply do it all.
-
Choosers have plans, but they also anticipate that the unexpected will happen. They are comfortable staying on plan in the face of the unexpected or adjusting and adapting in the moment as needed. They are considerate of others but are also considerate of themselves.
