Put yourself back in elementary school, with a set of finger paints and a white canvas to draw on. Imagine your self-portrait—not perfectly executed or created with artistic precision, but as a reflection of your identity and perspective. Describe it as best you can:

Now consider your team members going through the same exercise. If you manage a large team, pick the individual you seem to have the hardest time relating to and describe their self-portrait as you think they would draw it through the lens of their identity and perspective.
